NOCK

Privacy Policy · last updated 15 September 2026

Nock is a puzzle game published by Vartix. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no social features, and it asks you for nothing about yourself. This page describes exactly what the app does with data, and it is short because the app does very little.

What we collect

We operate no servers of our own. Since version 1.0.1 the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to tell us how the game is played, so that we can see which levels are too hard and whether players come back. It records:

It does not record your name, email, contacts, location, or anything you type — the game has nowhere to type anything. Nothing is collected until the consent form (where required) has been shown. Google processes this data under its own terms: Firebase privacy and security.

What stays on your phone

The game saves your progress in the app's own private storage on the device:

This progress data stays on the device and is not sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob, which is a Google service. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect and process data including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system, and how you interact with the ads. We never see this data ourselves, and we cannot use it to identify you.

What Google does with it is governed by Google's own terms:

Your choices

Children

Nock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact us and we will act on it.

Deleting your data

This applies to Nock (package com.vartix.nock), published by Vartix. Nock has no accounts, so there is no account to delete — only the data described above.

Data on your phone (progress, scores, lives, sound setting): uninstall the app, or open Settings → Apps → Nock → Storage → Clear data. It is deleted immediately and nothing is kept.

Analytics data held by Google Analytics for Firebase:

  1. Email abdllhakgul@gmail.com with the subject Nock data deletion.
  2. We reply with the steps to find your app instance ID, which is the only thing that links analytics events to your installation — we cannot find them without it.
  3. We request deletion of the events for that ID from Firebase within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted: every analytics event linked to that app instance ID. What is kept: totals that no longer identify any installation, such as "how many players finished level 10". Analytics events that are never deleted on request are still removed automatically at the end of the retention period set in Google Analytics, which is at most 14 months.

Advertising data is held by Google AdMob, not by us. You can delete your advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads, and manage Google's data at myaccount.google.com.

Permissions

The app requests internet and network-state access, and the advertising ID permission. They exist to load ads and to send the analytics events above. The game itself works fully offline; ads and analytics simply wait until a connection is available.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
